Workshop Description:
“Join us for our first class of the semester at Garage School! Instructor Jordan Delzell presents the course Paper-making as Pedagogy. This class will examine paper as a material and concept. What has paper made possible, and how does it structure our communication, education, and exchange? This class will teach 2D, 3D and experimental methods of paper-making utilizing recycled and foraged materials. We will collectively explore new futures for currency, books, and other everyday paper forms linked to bureaucratic systems of power.
Bring materials like scrap paper, receipts, old books, bills, notes, paper packaging...etc!! Wear outdoor clothing, snacks are provided, materials are provided.”
